How to start your day with a great mindset?

How we start our day can set the tone of our entire day. If we start our day being angry and grumpy then we might not be in a good mood all day long. Most of us do not have much time in the morning. However, I have been implementing this 5 minutes priming routine to my morning schedule which gives me a boost for an amazing day.

  1. Gratitude: Gratitude is one of the strongest positive emotions. Being grateful makes us think about the things we already have in our life. Think of three things that you are grateful for. And express gratitude from your heart.
  2. Vision: We all have a vision of where we want to be in any area of our lives. Think of three goals or dreams that you want to achieve.
  3. Shake your body: Here is the fun part. Move your body for about 3 minutes. Exercise, dance, run around the house, chase your kids, spouse, however you want to move. I put on a song and dance, dance, dance.

These three steps takes less than 5 minutes and sets a positive and upbeat energy for the rest of your day.
